Job Description
- The main responsibility of the Senior Design Engineer in Mechanical Design Competence in IAT-STD + BPCS Team is to manage the DN check process. This process is implemented for checking of Design Notification (DN) made by the product companies within Industrial Air Division. The purpose of DN check is to ensure that the DN’s which are released in BPCS system of product companies within industrial air division adhere to the divisional set guideline.
- In the job of Senior Design Engineer, you will be working at the Global Engineering Center of Atlas Copco in the Mechanical Design Team.
- You will be responsible:
- To manage the DN check process which results in efficient implementation, data consistency among shared parts in different ERP environments and clean system.
- To take the ownership of the process and implement it in all product companies within Industrial Air Division.
- To prepare and share monthly DN check report to Division and Engineering Manager of all product companies within Industrial Air Division.
- To arrange training sessions within team members to share error report and make them aware of top errors and how to minimize those.
- To support team members on BPCS activities and writing correct DN’s.
