Job Description
- Reviews Tender documentation including detailed reviews of the Instructions to Tenders, Scope of Work, Key Contract Dates, Commercial terms and conditions
- Reviewing project specifications, datasheets, and bid documents to establish customer requirements
- Review and identify any inconsistencies in the Invitation to tender documents and, if necessary, seek clarification from the customer
- Co-ordinate with the fluid control group regarding the detailed design of proposed API sealant systems and pricing
- Co-ordinate with Application Engineering team to obtain Application Engineering sign off for non-standard or special applications as necessary
- Preparing techno-commercial project proposals/bids for seals / API systems
- Provide replies to a request for techno-commercial clarifications regarding the submitted proposals
- Attend kick-off meetings prior to order finalization when required
- BE or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/IP)
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Industrial background: Process, Chemical or Petroleum / Petrochemical industries Or industries supplying equipment to above industries (Pumps, Compressors, Seals, Valves, or other rotating / process equipment’s)
- Functional Experience: Project management, Sales coordination, Application Engineering, Seal design, etc with good knowledge of International commercial terms and conditions, contract laws, and sales functions
