Job Description
- Highlight the main responsibilities
- Information regarding new patents from third parties
- Providing regularly IP Engineers, Project team members and Technical experts with a report on new patent publications, ranked by Product Lines / technical fields.;
- Prior art searches
- Realising prior art searches e. g. for patent clearances, patentability studies, patent mappings.
- Training people (Project team members, …) to search tools and methods
- Optimizing search tools
- Developing tools to retrieve previous searches
- Prior Art database (if any)
- Management of a customised database containing all the patents related to the BG activities,
- Developing tools to permit an easy retrieval of patents according to certain criteria;
- Monitoring with technical experts the indexation of patents in the database and putting some additional information for each of them;
- Managing access to the database (restricted access to added information, i.e. non public);
