Job Description
- Provide medium voltage design expertise to the design team, creating project drawings, block diagrams, line diagrams and component specifications.
- Review and analyze specifications, industry standards and local codes.
- Create preliminary design documents in support of new business conquest.
- Perform electrical calculations and simulations in support of the electrical design and component specification (capacity and voltage calculations, conductor and fuse sizing, inverter and converter characteristics, electrical panels, metering, switches, etc.).
- Create project electrical drawings (main level, sub-system, main circuit, control circuit, physical and logical, cables set, cable and device tables).
- Participate in installation of various battery energy system components.
- Execute test plans in the lab and in the field.
- Support component factory acceptance testing and on-site commissioning.
