Job Description
- Vendor interaction for manufacturing/procurement of bogie system aggregates, sub -assemblies and components.
- Preparation of Design documents for submissions to customers.
- Design & development of Jigs & Fixture for bogie fatigue testing.
- Responsible in design and development of Underframe, Sidewall, Endwall, roof Structure for DEMU (Diesel electric multiple unit) and metro coaches.
- Preparation of general arrangement and installation drawings.
- Concept design, Modeling and preparation of detail drawings.
- Weight distribution calculation, Spring deflection calculation for Rail bogies.
- Preparation of Operation, Technical & Maintenance manuals for Metro Bogies.
- Technical assistance & coordination with production, purchase, Quality, Tooling during proto development and production.
- Preparation of Bogie related technical documents for new rail/metro project tenders.
- Involved actively for Squeeze testing of Stainless Steel ACEMU Car body.
