Job Description
- Review designs and products for safety and quality
- Experience with electrical components, including switches, breakers, contactors, wire ampacity, and conduit
- Experience with drive components, including IGBTs, MOSFETS, snubbers, EMI
- thermal management and cooling
- Experience with closed-loop controls: PID, adaptive, fuzzy logic, etc. and sensors.
- Work with AC and DC motors and motor drives: PWM, VFD’s, drives for brushless
- with Hall sensors for commutation
- Prepare detailed, production-quality specifications and CAD drawings.
- Apply analysis, design-for-assembly and cost criteria throughout the designs.
- Interact with product teams, project teams, manufacturing personnel, suppliers and customers.
