About Company
Job Description
- Use specialized software (preferably Solidworks) to create models and drawings of sheet metal and FRP components used in Railways Industry.
- Carryout design simulation (preferably with Ansys) CFD and Structural.
- Guiding the team to convert 2 D drawings in soft and hard format to Solidworks drawing. Also help prepare the ACAD drawings.
- Study / research new materials and methods of development for cost effective designs
- Organize and maintain existing engineering records
- Writing regular progress reports and presenting them to project managers and clients
- Guide the team to construct prototypes and confirm designs with design/purchasing team
- Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes
- Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards / customer specifications
- Panel and component layout based on the industry standards
- Generating the code numbers and working in ERP for BOM.
- Attending the daily white board meeting and solving day to day technical problems.
- Vendor visits and guiding the QC and Purchase Team for technical issues. Also customer visits to study the existing design / requirement.
