Job Description
- Circuit design and analysis using schematic capture and other CAD tools.
- Design, validate and debug analog and microcontroller hardware PCB assemblies.
- Component selection and PCB layout heavy emphasis on analog design and wireless communication hardware.
- Design, develop, and test embedded software for controlling the vehicle
- Contribute to all phases of the software development cycle including prototyping, requirements capture, design, implementation, validation, and support
- Coordinate with the software team on design and development of microcontroller embedded systems.
- Research, evaluate, develop and apply new processes to products and applications.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, detailed oriented while showing highest standards of responsibilities.
- M.S.E.E with at least 2 years of experience or B.S.E.E with at least 4 years of experience in circuit and PCB design.
- Strong embedded C++/C and Python programming experience with micro-controllers and/or microprocessors (ARM, NXP)
- High level of analog, power and microcontroller design experience.
- Detailed understanding of CAN, I2C, SPI and SMBus is required.
- Experience with real-time operating systems on embedded systems (POSIX, QNX, FreeRTOS, etc.) and/or with Linux or android OS for automotive application
- Battery management design is a plus.
