- SERVICE INFORMATION DEVELOPERS (SIDS) UTILIZE THE ACM (ADVANCED CONTENT MANAGEMENT) SYSTEM TO DEVELOP AND ELECTRONICALLY AUTHOR A VARIETY OF SERVICE INFORMATION TYPES USED TO OPERATE, MAINTAIN AND REPAIR CATERPILLAR EQUIPMENT SPECIFIC TO EXCAVATOR, BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND EARTH MOVING PRODUCTS. ASSIGNMENTS SUPPORT BOTH NEW AND NON-CURRENT PRODUCT DESIGN. SERVICE INFORMATION PRODUCTS THAT ARE PRODUCED BY THE SERVICE INFORMATION DEVELOPERS HAVE SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON EFFICIENCY AND PROFITABILITY OF DEALER SERVICE OPERATIONS.
- SID WILL HAVE CONTINUOUS INTERACTION WITH PROJECT LEADERS, PRODUCT DESIGN SUPPORT ENGINEERS AND THE USE OF A VARIETY OF CORPORATE SYSTEMS AND RESOURCES.
