- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degreein Electrical Engineering or related degree.
- Good understanding of analog & mixed signal circuit fundamentals.
- Good knowledge on test and measurement equipment
- Analog product test debug and testing experience
- Basic engineering statistics and distribution analysis, data analysis skills.
- PCB Design and test hardware knowledge
- To work with the best experts in the industry.
- To develop capability to work effectively in a technically challenging fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- To work on Validation of cutting edge ICs on complex measurement needs.
- To work on complex debugs and Root Cause Analyses to reconcile Si behavior with Design & Technology expectations and learn failure analysis techniques
- To design Validation Platforms for very high throughput and efficiency
- To work on cutting edge ATE platforms – ETS364, ETS88HP
- To interact with wafer fabrication, assembly & test facilities.
- To learn product development process, Qualification and Manufacturing flows.
- To directly influence the cost entitlement of the product at release to market.
- To innovate on Test flows at manufacturing & influence decisions that have wide business impact across many products & teams.
- To define, as a team, long-term test and validation roadmap of capabilities, automation flows and methodologies to continuously improve productivity.
- To learn and develop business insights , drive open discussions with business & technology leaders and drive decisions impacting ATE execution
- To build strong, influential relationships with domain experts
- To develop good communication, interpersonal skills while interacting with worldwide cross functional experts
- To learn identifying risks across domains and adapt to support changing priorities
- To present analysis and conclusions to internal customers and business leaders in a comprehensive and effective manner.
- To mentor junior engineers and interns.
- As Test & Validation Engineer you are expected :
- To develop Validation / Test solutions from product Kick off to release to market
- To Design test fixtures and test boards for complex Mixed Signal ICs
- To Generate test code for characterization and production programs to meet the specifications of the device
- To Silicon debug and root cause analysis
- To perform System Level Tests/ EMI EMC tests like Emissions (CISPR), Immunity (IEC61000-4-x), ESD (Contact IEC etc).
- To do High speed board design with signal integrity care-abouts
- To create Validation Platforms designed for very high throughput and efficiency
- To Develop / optimize production test solutions for Mixed Signal ICs that meets test cost goals and deliver solutions on time
- To Contribute to and drive the design for test / manufacturability of each product.
