Job Description
- 8 plus years of experience in writing specifications and drawing schematics for high complexity boards.
- 8 plus years of experience working closely with CAD designers on complicated layout and routing by providing routing constraints.
- 8 plus years of experience working closely with Software engineers for bring-up and debug.
- 8 plus years of experience and knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity concepts such as impedance, differential routing, insertion loss, board stack-ups.
- 8 plus years of experience in FPGA design and System Simulation using Verilog
- Experience with lab equipment, especially high-speed oscilloscopes.
- Experience writing lab automation scripts
- Must be a team player and work well with other lab engineers and circuit/logic/system designers.
- Understanding of high speed interface concepts, including signal integrity.
- Working knowledge of test and measurement equipment, troubleshooting and debugging.
- Knowledge processor / memory system architecture.
- 8 plus years of experience with High layer count boards with industry leading high power/speed ASICs.
- 8 plus years of experience with High speed parallel buses, DDR4/5, GDDR6
- 8 plus years of experience in PAM4 56G, 112G, NRZ 32G, PCIE Gen 3/4/5 signaling.
- 8 plus years of experience designing for Manufacturability.
- 8 plus years of experience working with Contract Manufacturers
- Writing Functional Specifications.
- Selecting and Qualifying Board Level Components.
- Schematic Capture.
- Working closely with PCB Layout (CAD) engineers for high speed PCB design.
- Overseeing and specifying PCB fabrication.
- Working closely with Contract Manufacturer (CM) during all builds, from proto through production lab bringup and debug.
