About Company
Job Description
- Develop scripts and codes required for IoT enabled products that can be reused for similar applications.
- Understand system architecture, hardware components and develop software codes to meet customer needs working closely with sensor development team.
- Testing codes, debugging and integrating various applications.
- Data capturing, analog to digital conversions and data transfer using various communication protocols available.
- Improve functionality of existing programs and maintain/upgrade codes as per hardware component life cycle.
- Code configuration management and repository as per Regal guidelines.
- Understand Regal data security requirements in areas like user authentication and authorization between multiple environments and servers.
- Work closely with Regal ecosystem platform development team to integrate sensor applications.
- Work closely with IoT sensor engineering team to write interfacing codes for integrating sensors and gateways.
- Troubleshoot programing issues during development and after deployment at customer sites.
- Keep up to date on advancements in IoT programing languages, related standards and continuously upgrade the skills.
- Experience: 3 years in IoT sensor development using languages like Python, Node-RED.
- Basic understanding of programming languages like C#, SWIFT, PHP.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Working knowledge of interfacing with microcontrollers, SOC’s and other components used in sensor circuits.
- Proficient with wired/wireless technologies like Bluetooth, Zigbee and Modbus
- Proficient with data management, encryption and decryption algorithms.
- Prior experience in sensor development codes and firmware development is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Above average verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to get along well with others
- Can effectively function in a matrix and team environment
