About Company
Job Description
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.
- 3+ years software development experience.
- Willingness to learn, both old and new technologies, to solve problems and take the product in new directions
- An attitude to take on challenges
- Able to collaborate with a highly collaborative team
- Actively participate or assist teams to migrate from old technology stacks (COBOL) to new and more modern technologies.
- Experience with:
- Java and any JEE framework especially spring/springboot
- Automation tools for test & deployment
- CI-CD experience
- Ansible and Jenkins
- Kubernetes & Docker containerization
- Experience with cloud technology – esp. Microsoft Azure
- Basics of Oracle. Postgres is added advantage
- Knowledge on Unix/Linux/Windows platform
- Worked on any one of these: splunk/EFK/ELK
- Knowledge and experience using Oracle or DB2
- Familiarity with code management tools (GIT, Synergy, etc.) is desirable.
- Good oral and written communication skills are required, including ability to interface well with others
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are required
- Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required
- Should be self-motivated and capable of working independently
