Job Description
- Hands-on contribution in creating high level and technical designs, writing code, peer reviewing code by team members, and producing unit tests to ensure coverage
- Work in an agile environment as an active stakeholder within the team by participating in backlog grooming, story pointing, sprint planning and retrospectives
- Own the delivery and quality of features developed with a predictable velocity
- Travel to TraceLink US headquarters as needed to establish rapport with other development teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience
- 5+ years of software development, preferably at software product companies with a focus on large scale e-commerce, commercial transaction or inter-company network systems
- Experience in developing software for large scale SaaS / cloud deployments of enterprise and network software, Amazon Web Services experience desired
- Experience in developing solutions involving both server-side and UX components
- Strong coding skills in Javascript, preferably with NodeJs
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Experience working with the Drupal platform desired
- Experience breaking up complex requirements into smaller stories
- Experience with SDLC including version control, defect tracking, and unit testing
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Expertise working with REST-based web services
- Experience in working with remote development teams and in a highly cross-functional, globally diverse organization desired
