Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5 to 8 years in Electronic packaging similar to AC and DC power supplies.
- Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering is required.
- Experience in 3D modelling
- Experience in SolidWorks is compulsory.
- Experience in creating exploded views and documenting the Assembly drawings.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Job Description
Business Strategy
- Key member of technical team for development of new products and value engineering for the existing product lines.
Performance, Metrics & Reporting
- Review technical requirements and Support mechanical design for different AC and DC programmable power supplies.
- Provide weekly updates on project progress
People Management & Employee Development
- Collaborate with the Hardware design engineer, PCB engineer, Production team to do the design.
- Adhere to personnel policy requirements
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of staff and departmental and company information
Operation & Execution
- Analyze specification requirements for the power supply and develop general arrangement using sub-assemblies
- Design sheet metal parts and generate part drawings for fabrication.
- Document Cable assembly drawings and the Magnetic assembly drawings
Release Bill of Materials.
- Develop assembly drawings for production as necessary.
- Release all the documentation using the ECO process.
- Other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
