Eligibility Criteria
- 1-2 years of related technical support experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of complex support systems and processes.
- Strong analysis ability and problem-solving skills
- Must be pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible, results driven with attention to detail
- A team player who must be able to work under pressure, juggle multiple priorities, using initiative to meet deadlines without close supervision
- A disciplined thinker and capable of working across organizational boundaries in a very demanding, high-output environment
- A flexible, ‘hands-on’ ‘can do’ attitude
- Database Administration experience is preferred (Postgres or MySQL)
- Experience with supporting SaaS solution in public cloud environment (GCP and AWS)
- Systems administration in Linux (Ubuntu and CentOS)
- Networking (DNS, TCP/IP)
- Strong customer focus
- Comfortable in an ambiguous, ever-changing environment
- RHCSA or a similar certificate is beneficial
Job Description
- Responsible for managing, monitoring and operating all Synopsys SIG Production Cloud Services.
- Develop and improve operational practices and procedures.
- Proactively meet standards for information security and compliance, such as ISO, SOX, SSAE 16, etc.
- Collaborate with developers, IT and Cloud Operations team to bring new features and services into production.
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Hands on experience working with Docker, Kubernetes or any other container technologies
