Walmart is hiring for Software Engineer

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science
• 5 to 8 years of cloud infrastructure experience
• Industry experience in Cloud Technologies and Stacks (IaaS/PaaS) – Azure/GCP
• Experience supporting large scale, highly available, production Windows and Linux environment.

Desired Qualification and Experience

• Experience in building RestAPIs from scratch with strong knowledge in either Java or NodeJS
• Worked with OpenAPI/Swagger frameworks
• Experience in working with Messaging systems (Kafka/AMQ)
• Experience working with RDBMS / NoSQL technologies like AzureSQL /MySQL /Cassandra
• Ability to generate reports, analytics based on large scale datasets
• Good exposure working with GIT, Jenkins any CICD tools
• Good exposure working with container based technologies like Docker & K8s
• Experience working with reactive programming frameworks like VeterX is nice to have
• Exposure in usage of frameworks like Prometheus for generating application metrics

• Identify the right framework to be used for the component based on use case
• Build various components using java based frameworks
• Research & POC based on the business use case / problem statement
• Use containers for running the workloads
• Design schema for RDBMS / NoSQL database based on the use case
• Implement CICD for all components using GIT, Jenkins / Walmart internal tools
• Perf benchmark the components built & ensure they are able to run the workloads based on customer needs
