Eligibility Criteria
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with atleast 4 years of relevant experience.
- Have a Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Field Service and Technical Advising.
- Able to influence others and lead small teams.
- Experience working in power plant (gas fired/ coal fired), oil and gas industry, Balance of plant.
- Experience commissioning MVI/ MVIe/ Nexus OnCore/ OC 4000 controls systems.
Job Description
- Managing controls activities on-site during Installation and Commissioning and Maintenance of heavy-duty equipment.
- Planning, organizing, integrating, and direction of resources such as labor, tools, and materials for completing work scope.
- Understanding PLC ladder logic, including a basic understanding of how to navigate through ladder rungs while troubleshooting.
- Reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams.
- Ensuring the correct installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance practices are followed.
- Providing general knowledge of equipment instrumentation calibration, including various types of transmitters
- Providing technical expertise to customers, service support, field technicians, and operators.
- Ensuring contractual obligations are met and attend technical meetings with Customers & providing timely and accurate internal and external reports.
- Ensuring all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company EHS guidelines and procedures.
