Eligibility Criteria
- Fantastic communication skills & collaboration skills & experience of leading communication with customers.
- Should have hands-on experience in Plumbing & Fire protection services Design & Calculation for Residential, Industrial, commercial, Healthcare , logistics ( ware houses) and Mix used complex etc.
- Experience of working on international codes & standards like IPC, UPC, ASPE, CIBSE, NFPA etc. will be added advantage.
- Shall be familier with Building Information Modeling (BIM) platform
- Should have experience in effort estimation, resource planning & allocation, team training & mentoring etc.
- Well versed with collaboration tools like Blue Beam & communication tools like Go To Meeting, MS Teams, Zoom etc.
- Should have experience of working in multi-disciplinary environment for engineering coordination of MEP work
- Should have good visualization skills and ability to work on projects of complex nature
- Coordinating with team members for all the services for project requirements as a single points contact to client, Architect and Project Managers.
- Managing projects from concept design through design development & tender stage to the complete installation.
- Should have liking of Value engineering.
- Water demand calculations, Water supply / rain water drainage sizing calculations, selection of major equipments like Pumps / Grease trap/ PRVs etc.
- Pressure drop calculations for pipework.
- Water supply / Drainage/ Gas disctribution Schematics
- Preapration of equipment schedules pumps for plumbing & fire protection
- Basic knowledge of sizing / treatment philosophies & design basis for STP & WTP
- Reviewing /Scrutinizing all Plumbing & Fire protection designs / drawings including coordination with other services / disciplines as required.
- Responsible for completion of all services tender documents which includes GCC, SCC, Technical Specifications and BOQ.
- Responsible for Techinical & commercial Bid Evaluation
- Timely approval of Shop drawings to contractors & Factory testing of major equipments.
- Vendor & contractor submittal review
Job Description
- Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
- Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignements.
- Identifies discrepancies in results.
- Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
- Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
- Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.
