Clous GmbH is Hiring for Design Engineer

• Inspection: Analyze customer requests (based on 3D models, drawings, and check criteria) for manufacturability
• Modeling and drafting: Create 3D models, drawings, blueprints
• Assembly creation: Create Assemblies with the given models, constraints, and requirements
• CAM Programming (with Mastercam):
• Determine the sequence of machine operations, select cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates needed to machine workpieces
• Write programs for 2 to 5 axis CNC machines using Mastercam
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing:
• Check 3D models for GD&T on the basis of the function of the part
• Assign colors to the different surfaces of the parts according to the tolerances

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelors/Masters degree in an engineering discipline
• CAD experience (for example Siemens NX, Solid Edge, etc.)
• Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) experience
• Experience with CNC machinery (lathe, mill, waterjet, laser cutter, EDM, etc.)
• Experience with CAM programming (Mastercam)
• Tooling design experience (desirable)
• Fluent in English
