Scope:

• Develop and design products, equipment and tools to be able to produce product that meets high quality requirements and performance standards.
• Analyses equipment specifications and process requirements to conceive a practical design.
• To support the sales team and customers with engineering and specialized solutions measured in terms of sales pertaining to machine investments, special tools and total customer satisfaction as expressed in success factors by offering design & drawings of engineered specials to customers.

Key Performance Areas:

• Support sales team and customers with engineering and specialized solutions measured in terms of sales pertaining to machine investments, special tools and total customer satisfaction as expressed in success factors by offering design & drawings of engineered specials to customers.
• Evaluation of Enquiries in terms of complete information, business Strategy & feasibility.
• Should able to make the best proposal drawing based on input given by stake holders by using AutoCAD or UG.
• Support field sales in the preparation of concept and understanding application of special tools.
• Build a proposal for a specific application in order to convert opportunity into Coromant business. Visit as on when necessary to customers for identified projects to study application and offer the best possible solution.
• Act as a role model/coach for sales engineers and distributor team in terms of the right design for the tool.
• Support field sales in the preparation of concept and understanding application of special tools.
• Main support and communication with Nagoya – Japan team.
• Responsible to create manufacturing design using NX by evaluation of enquiries in terms of complete information, business strategy, and feasibility.
• Ensure design quality and make designs are as per specific production unit requirements and cost-effective to produce.
• Think from an application perspective while making designs.
• Create 3D models and support for projects of specific requirements from sales team/customers
• Main support & communication with Internal stakeholders spread globally.

Your Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Have around 2 – 5 years of experience in the metal cutting industry as Design Engineer.
3. Knowledge of Design Tool especially Auto CAD, NX (Essential)
4. Strong Planning, organization, and negotiation Skill.
5. Strong Project Management Skill.
6. Good in Communication Skills.
7. International mindset and able to work in a matrix organization.
8. Ready to travel locally & overseas.
9. Should be able to work in a team.
10. Self-motivated and result-oriented person.
