Eligibility Criteria
- M.E/ M. Tech Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
- Internal/external expert in specialty area(s) and/or demonstrated understanding of elements beyond mechanical.
- Mentors several people within team.
- Creates and coordinates schedules for multiple complex projects lasting at least several quarters. Presents directly to management above their respective team.
- Creatively solves significant ambiguous problems with unclear solution paths that impacts several factors of a project.
- Direct decisions or recommendations consistently enable organization goals and objectives.
- Lead projects working with external groups and/or customers (such as design integrator on customer co-engineering system, developed technology taken out to customers).
- Hands on experience in Part modelling, assembly, surface modelling, drawing and Structural analysis.
- Modelling and Analysis using any design, analysis software such as Creo, Solid Works, Ansys Workbench and ABAQUS.
Job Description
- As a mechanical lead, should independently execute System design from conceptual ideas to realization in product by fulfilling all system level requirements.
- Design solutions that are competitive in performance, cost and quality.
- Partner closely with cross functional team and program manager to deliver the design within defined timeline.
- self-motivation, desire to learn from new challenges, problem solve, and use communication skills to work within a highly interactive and experienced team.
