Molex is hiring for Mechanical engineer as Design Engineer

• Design and develop new products and product components
• Develop designs for efficient manufacturing
• Develop product and application specifications
• Support marketing/sales with product proposals, samples, and technical literature
• Support Manufacturing and Quality Assurance
• Direct design review meetings
• Design Engineer liaison between design center and plant operations
• Responsible for Product Validation Testing
• Works with Plant MIE in developing processes to support the design.
• Understand, support, and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• 2+ years mechanical product design experience with electronic products (preferring from connector industries)
• Good writing and spoken English
• Experienced with PDP process
• Understanding of Tolerance analysis, dFMEA, FEA.
• Knowledge on component design (injection, diecasting, sheet metal)
• Attention to details, be creative, good interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal cross functional teams and external customers

What Will Put You Ahead

• 5+ years’ experience with cable design
• The ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image.
