Mercedes-Benz is Hiring for Thermal Analysis Engineer - Mechanical

• Build, operate, assess, look into, and provide remedies/countermeasures for the entire vehicle Thermal 3D CFD simulations under the hood
• Interact with technical teams that are scattered globally.
• Responsibilized for the allocated task’s quality and completion deadlines
• project planning, implementation, and delivery of outcomes evaluation
• Ensure that all applicable rules, laws, and compliance requirements are followed.

A candidate should

• have a solid grasp of the principles of heat transfer and fluid dynamics
• possess expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD using commercially available tools)
• possess great communication abilities (oral, written, and visual)

Added advantage

• thorough knowledge of experimental or theoretical fluid dynamics
• thorough knowledge of numerical optimization methods

Preferred

• competent in Star-CCM+
• Scripting expertise
• working knowledge of automobile systems
• basic knowledge of German

Education and Experience Requirements

• Mechanical engineering B.Tech. or thermal engineering M.Tech (preferable)
