Eligibility Criteria

  • 4+ years of relevant hands on experience in UX (User Experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction/User Experience Design, or equivalent experience, is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Candidates with experience in Aviation domain will be preferred.
  • Experience working in a global organization is preferred.

Job Description

  • Able to produce a User Interface design specification for the current product UI implementation. This person must be able to use UX best practices to identify key usability issues with the existing product and justify development investments in terms of user productivity benefits.
  • Works with the Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions Global Product Design team using a common UXD frame-work and delivers superior user experiences across the portfolio of solutions in a uniform and standardized manner.
  • Collaborates on the evolution of the UX/UI standards with the Boeing Digital Aviation Global Product Design team.
  • Works closely with development team on approved design processes, tools and technology.
  • Can follow the broad set of business requirements from business stakeholders and contribute towards designs solutions using user-centered design principles.
  • Uses UX best practices to identify key usability issues.
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams including Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions Global Product Design, product management, business analysis, and engineering to define, design and implement clear, contemporary/modern, and consistent solutions for the product direction that are consistent with the established design standards.
  • Provides periodic updates to Boeing project teams and Design manager in the form of progress reports, project summaries, and other related documents. 
  • Coordinates and communicates regularly with experts in Boeing organizations around the world including design collaboration and design reviews with Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions.
  • This position will support initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, mentoring, customer engagement etc.
  • This position may require some travel within India and internationally.
