ABB is Hiring for Production Shift Leader - Mechanical

• Assisting management and shift team in allocating, coordinating, and overseeing shift orders and work plans execution within procedures lines during the shift
• Providing regular feedback and makes recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including production line organization, shifting priorities and possible critical situations
• Helping management implement staff movements in case of vacations, illness, machine outages or shifting priorities
• Serving as leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and the resolution of technical/quality problems and logistic issues
• Reinforcing focus on volume, efficiency and on time delivery
• Ensuring the shift operation is run in compliance with health and safety policies and guidelines

Your background

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years for work experience in the relevant field
• Knowledge in the implementation of various techniques and quality and safety standards for improving operations along with cost savings well versed with the functional aspects of 5S, Kaizen, POKA-YOKA, etc
• Excellence in preparing project details for current projects & review its status at each stage from initial till the final delivery of the product
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills
