• The candidate will be part of the charging station department with the core responsibility of product development from concept to product deployment. Should be a team leader and able to lead and train his team to perform in stipulated time. The design knowledge of EV charging systems will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in all stages of product development for EV Charging stations (preferably swapping Technology)
• In-depth understanding of EV vehicle and Charger station architecture and Requirement design through Design Process Overall understanding of the hardware, control, and software aspects of components in EV/HEV domain.
• Experience in designing one or more components/systems in EVs and Swap stations such as batteries, BMS, Power Converters, Switch gears, PLCs, ECUs, UPS and Network components Etc.
• Experience with control strategy development, modeling, simulation and tuning of control algorithms, integration, and battery swap station (BSS) testing of components and systems in EV.
• Good understanding of the performance requirements and benchmarks of various EV systems, BSS & AC and DC Charging system.
• Understanding of HILS validation of EV components and systems,
• Should have knowledge of EV, Charger and Swapping System related Standards.
• Should be able to conduct root cause analysis & propose cost-effective solutions using a problem-solving technique.
• independently handling the EMI EMC and other testes and Homologation tests
• Good understanding of Wiring harness, integrations of Electronics, and thermal (HVAC).
• Should be Capable to handle Design Documentation and Design Process.
• Proactively involved in design-related Field issues and resolve them through problem-solving methods.
• Capable of handling DVVP, DVT and EVT
• Good in handling the EMI EMC, other testes and Homologation tests.
• Knowledge of product design standards, testing standards, and EV and Charging standards.
• Hands ON Experience on SOR, DV, Design calculation and FMEA
• Hands-on experience in CAD, Electrical Component selection, Schematic, and Architecture design.
• Strong in Electrical Circuit design, EVSE Standards, and troubleshooting.
• Able to interact with customers/vendors on Design discussion, developments, and Requirements.
• Good knowledge of batteries, Rectifiers, Electrical Switchgear, CAN, RS485 PLC, UPS, Protecting devices, and CPU.
• Knowledge on Electrical component & product level testing
• Good commutation skills with the ability to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams working across the company.
• Min 10 years of work experience in R&D Electrical EV and Charging systems.
• Candidates from product-based manufacturing industries are preferred.
• Commitment & self-driven ownership of the product from drawing board to production
• Prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Should take initiatives with Proactive approach to resolve technical challenges
