Epiroc is Hiring for Design Engineer - Mechanical

• BE / B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering with 4–6-year experience
• ME/M.Tech. Mechanical Engineering with 3–5-year experience

• Develop and deliver design solutions related to hydraulic breakers for structural, hydraulic, controls engineering.
• Responsible for the 3D CAD design and drawing detailing for parts/assemblies using 3D CAD software.
• Release engineering changes through PLM system
• Provide technical support to production, planning, sourcing, quality, marketing, service, and aftermarket departments.
• Research and develop new concepts and test prototypes as required.
• Assist in resolving field issues.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure designs meet technical and business objectives.
• Complete technical calculations and analysis
• Research and follow applicable standards during design process.
• Help to train and develop new entry level engineers and designers
• Experience in performing advanced engineering calculations & finite element analysis (FEA).
• Proficient with PTC Creo Parametric or equivalent 3D CAD software
• Understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Knowledge in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software Teamcenter/windchill or similar
• Exposure to heavy equipment manufacturing such as mining, construction, or agriculture
• Ability to compile and present technical data clearly and concisely.
• In-depth knowledge of how components are manufactured.
• Ability to generate creative solutions to problems and work in a fast-paced environment which requires multi-tasking capability.
• Ability to work in teams.
• Target oriented, motivated, positive, dynamic personality with strong analytical skills.
• You have great communication skills; you listen to people and value their opinion.

Experience requirements

• Exposure to heavy equipment manufacturing such as mining, construction, or agriculture
• Awareness about machining and heat treatment process.
• Knowledge of ERP system.
• Prior experience in Mining and Manufacturing industry is preferred.
