- Level of Education: Engineer
- Branch of Study: Industrial- Electrical – Mechanical – Mechatronics or similar
- Experience: 2 years of experience in the automative industry
- Language: French and English

- Professional competences: Continuous Flow Production/Engineering Optimization/Engineering Principles/Engineering Standards and Procedures/Engineering Standards and Procedures
Job Description
- Performs Industrial Engineering functional activities as directed by the relevant Production Engineering leader
- Provides regular reports to his/her own superior(s)
- Escalates according to defined escalation paths
- Provides support in escalation topics from projects / production / quality complaints
- Performs IE tasks within improvement & customer projects
- Perform and drive efficiency improvement activities by applying IE methods
- Implements lessons learned, best practice and actively shares the information within the Engineering network
- Ensures the calculated manufacturing time is entered into the relevant systems
- Ensures support in:
- Activities for development of new production equipment and processes in coordination with Country & Production Management teams
- The development and optimization of Industrial Engineering (IE) methods
- The elaboration and definition of best IE practices
- Knowledge exchange between Production Management and country plants
- The elaboration, optimization and implementation of production process standards
- The development of new production methods and processes
- The implementation of IE methods (KOSU, VSM, 5S, etc.)
- Arrangement, optimization and participation in approval of workstations
- Perform and analysis of production time calculation
- Analysis of production processes based on standard (IE) methods
- Evaluates time analysis in order to detect time bottlenecks, MUDA, ….
- Performs production process balancing/modulization according to performed time analysis
- Compares real times with the planned times in order to define measures for time optimization
- Design Line Balance and implement in Production
- Theorical station balance defines (from assembly area till packing
- Carries out and implement measures for reducing production time
- Creation & release of workstation documents
