Wabtec is Hiring for Engineer, Mechanical

• BE in Mechanical and/or allied branches

• Make delivering projects as per the cost & schedule targets set by the Business units a priority and ensure the desired quality in the output is met consistently
• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements. This work would include mechanical engineering for all products
• Should have working knowledge in Catia and Solidworks
• Multi-CAD expertise desirable – Creo/Autodesk/Autocad
• Must develop new, complicated 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings, create parts lists, wiring diagrams, layouts, detailed assembly drawings, and part outlines
• Ability to make accurate mechanical engineering drawings and create bills of material for ordering
• Must work independently and deliver flawlessly
• Should have knowledge of sheet metal parts manufacturing, casting design & machined parts manufacturing
• Should have a fair understanding of Design for Manufacturability & Assembly (DFMA) principles
• Should have knowledge of GD&T as per ASME / EN standards
• Should have good knowledge of materials
