Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 0-3 years’ working experience in the Mechanical design/ Heavy fabrication area.
- Expertise in structural design ownership with affinity for calculation of material strength, bolted joint, welded joint etc.
- Expertise in FEA is added advantage.
- Experience in guiding CAD/FEA teams to develop robust design and packaging based on FEA results from various load cases.
- Ability in navigate UG/Teamcenter.
- Good communication and influential skills.
Job Description
- Design and development of Platform and its components for locomotive application using sound Engineering principles, adhering to business standards/ processes and as per program requirements.
- Ability to understand the system requirements flow down to sub-system. Develop concepts and evaluate, identify risks and mitigation plans to address them.
- Take the design through technical reviews. Document the technical data consistent with Engineering policies and quality procedures.
- Provide shop support for in-house manufacturing and address supplier/field issues.
- Interfacing with cross functional stakeholders across the organization.
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
- Participate in organizational initiatives and team activities.
