Job Description
- We are looking for a Static -Rotary Mechanical Design Engineer with 5+ Years of Experience for our esteemed client for Bangalore Location.
- Require experience AutoCAD 2D, PV-elite Compress, HTRI, ETR, UG NX, Ansys, API Certification, Rotating Equipment on skids/Package.
- This is an immediate requirement. Please apply if you can join within 20 days or close to 20 days.
- Should be able to prepare conceptual, preliminary and detail for static equipment (Columns, Vessels, Tanks, Separators, Filters, HRSG, OTSG, WHRU, Furnace).
- Prepare & review of 2D & 3D models for mechanical equipment (Columns, Vessel AC, piping supports, aux. Structures supports, Lifting devices, WHRU & HRSG Structures).
- HTRI calculation on HRSG, WHRU, Heat Exchangers. Capability to develop detail design and review, including all details and check with PV elite (or equivalent) and HTRI for thermodynamic aspects in case of HE.
- Rotating machinery selection (Pumps, Air & N2 Compressors, Fan, Blowers), performance assessment. Mechanical specification, purchase spec, and their technical alignment.
- Should have worked on Integration of Rotating Equipment on skids/Package like air cooler. Supply specifications emission & review. Prepare Assembly & Construction drawings.
- Analytical mindset and experience in detail design of Static Eq. or system integration of rotating equipment (ex. Pump, motor, etc) on skids. Attitude and capability in coordination of resources.
- Should be able to Plan, Communicate, Control, Execute the project.
- Ensure timely execution timeline of project and Back-log clearance, if required.
- Assist with the approval of external suppliers.
- Assist with developing and maintaining processes, procedures and standards for technical design
- Obtain or provide pricing for estimating purposes.
- Should be able to read/ understand and support P & ID, PFD, Cause & Effect diagrams, Alarms list, vendor drawings for all three disciplines (Elect/Inst/Mech), equipment index, equipment data sheets, interpreting vendor manuals, etc.
- Select/verify/prepare, perform, and check detailed technical designs (including calculations, drawings, risk assessments, design certificates)
- Obtain independent checks and/or third-party technical approvals.
- Ensure design outputs meet health and safety/environmental compliance.
- Technical alignment with follow up during entire requisition phase.
- Able to interact with suppliers and customer targeting OTD and business needs.
- Including experience in team/resources management. Skilled in PLM company tools. Controller of manufacturing aspects.
- Reviewer at all design levels (basic/conceptual), preliminary, detailed). Good knowledge of technical tools and operating company tools (PLM, FEA, HTRI). Knowledge of product cost and manufacturability driving factors.
- Proficiency in Equipment Advanced CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and FEM (Finite Element Method).
- WHRU & HRSG validation & optimization, Vessels Specific needs (ASME VIII Div.2).
- Fluent English written and oral communication / interpersonal skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with the -other teams.
- Experience with Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- API certification is an advantage.
- Standard tools required are: AutoCAD 2D, PV-elite Compress, HTRI, ETR, UG NX, Ansys
- Assist with promoting best practice internally.
- Assist with promoting the Company to customers.
- Exposure to project planning software/tools.
- Experience with Share Point for document management.
