Eligibility Criteria
- Skilled SQL Developer having predominant experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Performance Tuning and Optimization.
- Should have sufficient experience in Database (Data) Modelling.
- Experience in Azure SQL Server Database (PaaS).
- Good to have:
- Knowledge of certain DBA activities like monitoring DB health and performance.
- Implement DB maintenance and optimization measures like indexing, updating statistics, partitioning, Etc.
- Experience in DB, Server reporting and monitoring using Azure Alerts and Log Analytics Workspace is a huge plus.
Job Description
- Will be part of DevOps team, involved from requirements gathering to design, development, and production operations.
- Collaborates with cloud infra, data engineering and analytics teams, architects to configure and maintain databases, processes.
- Improve current DB design for better availability, security, reliability, and scalability.
- Prepare jobs / maintenance plans, capacity management plans.
- Monitor health and performance, resolve issues, fine tune performance.
- Assist with query tuning and schema refinement.
- Build automation for monitoring and housekeeping activities.
- Develop reports and dashboards in Azure Portal using Azure Alerts and Log Analytics Workspace.
