Eligibility Criteria

  •  Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Science, or a related field from an appropriately certified university. 
  • Proven experience in asset integrity management, preferably in the oil and gas industry. ASME VIII-Div 1, ASME B31.3/4/8, PCC 2 Repair of pressure vessels
  • Working knowledge in reliability and integrity design engineering, including risk-based inspection planning and corrosion assessment, and experience in engineering calculations such as pressure vessel rating and fitness-for-service evaluations.
  • Strong fluency in Process Safety, Management of Change and oil and gas industry Base Business processes.
  • Experience with using IDMS (SAP, PCMMS), Pressure vessel calculations software (Inspect-Compress, PV elite), optional CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience providing asset integrity support within Shale and Tight operations
  • Experience with pressure vessel and process piping codes, including API 510, API 570, API 571, API 577, API 579, API 653, and API 12F–API 12R1. Certification preferred. Background in Facilities Engineering design for Unconventional Fields.
  • Certified in API 580 and knowledge of API 581
  • Demonstrate understanding of Process Safety Information management

Job Description

  • Managing integrity threats to closure, fixed equipment re-rates, and fitness for service (FFS) assessments level 1 and Level 2
  • Making visible monthly reporting of backlog integrity threats.
  • Support Fit for Risk Fixed Equipment Asset Strategies in aid of safe and reliable operation of Chevron’s Shale and Tight (S&T) facilities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and failure mode analysis to identify potential integrity threats. Develop mitigation plans to address identified risks and enhance asset reliability.
  • Plan and coordinate regular inspections and monitoring activities for pipelines, process pipes, pressure vessels and tanks. Develop and optimize inspection plans by recommending appropriate inspection methods and NDE techniques.
  • Analyze inspection and monitoring data to assess asset conditions and performance. Provide recommendations for maintenance, repair, or replacement plans to ensure asset integrity.
  • Ensure all asset integrity activities comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and company policies. Prepare and maintain necessary documentation and reports for regulatory compliance. Offer technical support to process safety teams by contributing and participating in PHA, HAZOPs, etc
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to integrate integrity management practices into daily operations. Provide technical support and guidance on asset integrity issues. Support audits and evaluations of S&T site Asset integrity programs.
  • Identify opportunities for improving asset integrity management practices. Implement innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance asset performance and longevity. Stay updated with latest developments in industry standards and practices and bring new learnings and experiences to help improve S&T Asset Integrity work processes and practices.
  • Completing pressure relief device (PRD) calculations for equipment re-rates.
