Job Description
- Language proficiency in javascript in a Node.js environment and Python programming language.
- Understanding of RabbitMQ (publisher/subscriber model and resilient queues) or similar secured remote communication and messaging platforms.
- Experience in developing Storage/Platform Management Framework which involves systems management concepts, stats monitoring, telemetry, CLI and REST interfaces.
- Knowledge of the HA (High Availability) for failover using kubernetes containers.
- Experience with JSON, RESTful interfaces.
- JavaScript will be an advantage.
- Experience in developing the Secured infrastructure including LDAP Authentication, Role Based Access Control and SSL/TLS communications.
- Understanding of storage system architectures, storage media types, communication media and protocols.
- Typical capacity, throughput and latency values, failure modes.
- Understanding of the basic UNIX and experience in programming in UNIX environment.
- Understanding of and experience with concurrent programming, distributed systems.
- Knowledge of software development life-cycle (git, code reviews, Jira).
- Understanding of and experience with industry software development processes and practices.
- Actively pursues opportunities for learning and self-development
